The WEBSTOP system is designed to operate as an effective and reliable web break detection system. It can instantly detect web breaks, simultaneously stop press operation, and fire web severers (if equipped) before costly web wrap-up damage can occur. The WEBSTOP system is low maintenance, user friendly and simple to use. It can be operated in a fully automatic mode or can be programmed for various press configurations.

The WEBSTOP Premium controls package consists of a color touch-screen display, PLC controller, power supply, and I/O relays. This touch-screen enables the press operator to run the system in either manual mode or
automatic mode. In manual mode, the press operator can program up 36 different press configurations by choosing which sensors to arm. This is useful for multi-configuration or split presses. In auto mode the system
can determine which sensors to arm according to where there is web present at start up. If press arming and proximity sensor signals conflict, the WEBSTOP system stops press operation for safety reasons.
